Twenty-plus years helping people move and feel better — and how I ended up at Evolve.
I've been helping people move and feel better through movement for over 20 years. My journey began with yoga in the 1990s, and since then I've explored and studied a wide range of movement practices, always fascinated by how the body works and how movement can improve the way we experience everyday life.
I recently qualified as a Personal Trainer, bringing together my long-standing experience in movement, mobility and body awareness with strength and fitness coaching. My approach is rooted in the belief that everyone can benefit from moving with greater confidence, strength and freedom, regardless of age, experience or fitness level.
I love helping people discover what their bodies are capable of. Seeing someone move with more ease, feel stronger, recover from setbacks, or achieve something they never thought possible is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
Areas I focus on when working 1:1 or running sessions.
Helping clients move more efficiently, improve joint mobility, develop body awareness, and build movement patterns that support both performance and everyday life.
Combining strength training with practical movement principles to help clients build resilience, confidence, and sustainable fitness for the long term.
Drawing on over two decades of yoga practice and teaching to improve mobility, balance, breathing, recovery, and mind-body connection.
Supporting people of all ages to maintain strength, mobility, balance, and independence, helping them continue doing the activities they love for years to come.
Movement begins with awareness. When we learn to pay attention to how we move, we create the foundation for greater strength, resilience and freedom in everything we do.— Anna, on her coaching philosophy
