I’ve been Coaching since 2007 after graduating from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Sport & Exercise Science.
Back then Athletic Performance was what I was interested in and I went onto work in pro sport as a Strength & Conditioning Coach and as a Sport Scientist.
Over the years I’ve gained experience working in professional sports teams including Scarlets Rugby and Swansea City FC, and worked as S&C Coach to professional athletes MMA competing in Cage Warriors and Bellator Fighting Championship.
I’m fascinated by the way we move and what we’re capable of. I feel inspired thinking about our capacity for adaptation and what we could do!
I believe that our experience of the world is shaped by our ability to move within it. Moving well gives us freedom.
I’ve learned many lessons from a lifetime in sport, training, and goofing around and it holds a great deal of meaning for me, not just in terms of fitness, health & physical skills, but in understanding myself.
It’s enabled me to do some really cool things, have some of the best experiences of my life, and help me cope with some of the worst…
When someone comes to me for Coaching and Training, I hope to inspire them in movement. I hope to share my knowledge and experience as a Coach and Athlete to help people enjoy their body’s, unlock it’s potential, and use it in ways which are meaningful to them.
IDRIS
MAHMUT
During his primary and high school years, Mahmut focused his training as a runner (sprinter), wrestler, footballer and rock climber. He then went on to Study for his Bachelor degree in Sports Science before starting his professional career in 2007 as a Swimming Coach and Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Since then he’s enjoyed working with some amazing people, including coaching children, adults, and athletes in many sports and backgrounds.
He believes in the importance of a holistic approach, backed by a scientifically supported action plan.
Over the years he’s focused his expertise on areas such as technical and tactical training for strength and endurance, sport massage, recovery, and rehabilitation post injury, and he continues to learn, adding new training methods to his skill set.
The happiness of contributing to his clients development, and making change happen is his greatest motivation.
SANGITA
I am a physiotherapist with 17 years of experience. I trained in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine. I have worked in private practices and with sports teams in NZ, Australia, and the UK. My approach focuses on building strength for lasting relief, tailoring care to each patient’s unique goals. I am passionate about helping patients regain the ability to lift weights, run, dance, and move without pain or limitation.
Sport and movement have always been a significant part of my life. I've worked with cricket teams at a domestic and premiere level, hockey and rugby league. I've played hockey, dabbled in aerial skills, and even professional wrestling.
In addition to my musculoskeletal physiotherapy practice, I also specialise in Women's Health physiotherapy, where my mission is to empower women at every stage of life, from pregnancy through perimenopause and beyond. While issues like leaking, overactive bladder, and prolapse are common, there are effective treatments available, and I'm here to offer support and help you manage these.
While I'm not saving the world, one patient at a time, I enjoy being creative with photography and doodling, lifting in the gym and calisthenics training. I am on a mission to reclaim my handstand, which seems to have been misplaced somewhere back in the 90s!
